Aviation Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Chaz Overbee is currently deployed with the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and its Carrier Strike Group in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. Fleet area of operations.
Overbee is a Greenfield resident and a 2010 graduate of McClain High School. He is the daughter of Sheila Walker of Greenfield, grandson of Dianna Edwards and James Edwards of Greenfield, and great-grandson of Paul White and the late Betty White.
Overbee’s wife, Alyssa Overbee, and daughter, 3-year-old Miabell Overbee, reside in Hampton, Va.
