Jingle Bell Bazaar moving

The Jingle Bells Bazaar which has been held at the Hills and Dales Training Center for the past 20 or so years has officially outgrown the former facility.

The bazaar has made a move to the Hillsboro Elementary School, which will allow for many more local vendors to take part in the event that is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.

“We are very excited to be making this move,” said Hiordan Freeze, coordinator of the Jingle Bell Bazaar. “Each year, as our bazaar has continued to grow, I’ve had to turn away vendors for a lack of room. But the staff at the elementary school has bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, and for that we are grateful.

“We anticipate having well over 100 vendors this year and spots are filling up fast. All the proceeds from the Jingle Bell Bazaar will benefit Camp Itawa, a fall camp held at Fort Hill Camp Grounds. The camp annually serves over 50 adults with disabilities from three counties.”
