Fairfield FFA attends national convention

Twenty-four Fairfield FFA members left Wednesday morning for national convention in Indianapolis with the Mowrystown FFA on a charter bus. They headed north to make a stop at the Dayton Air Force Museum where the students learned about all eras of flight. At the museum they also got to watch an IMAX movie about traveling to Mars and making in habitable. Next they got back on the bus to eat lunch at a Texas Roadhouse. Then they hoped back in the bus in official dress to Indianapolis. They attended the first session of the convention that night where the national officers got the FFA members pumped to transform FFA. They grabbed a quick meal on the way back to their hotel in Lafayette, Ind. Pictured, from left, are Blaine Vickers, Holden Ferguson, Justin Sowders, Drew Credit, Nick Evans and chaperone Brian Back standing in front of an armed forces helicopter at the Dayton Air Force Museum.
