The Hillsboro FFA Chapter held its annual Greenhand banquet recently where all first-year FFA members were awarded their Greenhand Degree. Greenhand Degrees are given to any first-year members. This year the Hillsboro FFA had a guest speaker from the Ohio state FFA officer team. Meredith Oglesby, who is the state FFA vice president, gave a motivational speech during the ceremony. Producers Stockyards donated a hog for the meal at the banquet. Hunters Meats donated the processing of the hog. The Grover family helped in preparing the meal for all of those who came to the event.
