The Highland County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Mary Ann. She is a 4.5-month-old shepherd mixed breed puppy. She has been at the shelter since the day she was born. She is not bashful and would gladly make up with anyone who might take her home with them. She’s very playful and has lots of energy. She loves to run and play. To see Mary Ann or one of the other dogs, puppies, cats or kittens, visit the Highland County Humane Society Animal Shelter at 9331 SR 124, Hillsboro. For more information call 937-393-2110. The shelter is open six days each week from noon to 5 p.m. It is closed on Wednesdays. If you are missing a dog, give the shelter call because it currently have two dogs that staff members think belong to someone.
