The Highland County Poultry, Pigs & Lambs 4-H Club met at the Hamer Township House on April 23 at 2 p.m. There were 18 members present for the meeting.

A demonstration was given by Wesley Kelch. The health report was given by health officer Noah Rudy. The adviser announced that if anyone is interested in attending 4-H camp at Canter’s Cave, they must submit their registration to the Extension Office by May 1. The Extension Office received a grant to help cut the cost of the camp fees this year.

The HCPA will be having a chicken and noodle dinner on May 6. There will also be vendors and auction items available.

The meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served by Asher, Elam and Caden Faust.

The next meeting will be at 2 p.m. on May 7 at the Hamer Township House.
