The Union Chapel Church gave needy families in Bright Local School District full book bags for the start of school with the help of some churches in Wilmington, Crop Production in Mowrystown, Chris Michael and Debbie Robbins, and all members of the church. It was a blessing.

The church will be doing the same thing around New Year’s for more students and those who have worn their book bags out and used up their supplies.

The Union Chapel Church meets on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. It is located at 2355 Union Road. Take SR 73 south from Hillsboro to Peach Orchard Road, then turn onto Peach Orchard and the second road on left is Union Road.

A special thank you to Brenden South, the church pastor, who went over and above to help this effort.
