The Hillsboro Police Department has reported the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Agnes Powell, 88, of Hillsboro, for failure to yield when entering a roadway.

Laci Satterfield, 24, of Wilmington, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

Rebbecca Harris, 20, of Greenfieldfor disorderly conduct by fighting.

Ashley Smith, 27, of Greenfield, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

Pamela Dillon, 36, of West Union, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

Andrea Parker, 54, of Hillsboro, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

ACCIDENTS

On Friday, Nov. 13 at 6:23 p.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash. Jeremy Collins, 25, of Hillsboro, was southbound on North West Street. Cindy Captain, 49, of Hillsboro, was stopped in traffic in the 1000 block of North West Street. Collins failed to stop and struck the rear of the vehicle driven by Captain. Collins was cited for assured clear distance.

On Sunday, Nov. 15 at 10:16 a.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash. Agnes Powell, 88, of Hillsboro, was westbound on Harry Sauner Road. Christopher Young, 44, of Hillsboro, was pulling out of the Highland Heights Apartments onto Harry Sauner Road. Young failed to see the vehicle driven by Powell and struck the left rear quarter panel causing damage.

Ashley Stites, 29, Hillsboro, arrested for bench warrant.

Bobby Clifford, 40, London, arrested for possession of marijuana, bench

warrant and theft.

Nov. 18

Kassie Brigner, 20, Greenfield, arrested for bench warrant.

Tara Ralph, 41, Greenfield, arrested for trespassing and theft.

James Jewell, 50, Hillsboro, arrested for possession of marijuana.

William Harris, 46, Hillsboro, arrested for unlawful pseudoephedrine purchase.

Ronald Lee, 37, Hillsboro, arrested for bench warrant.

INCIDENTS

On Nov. 17 at 11:13 p.m. the department received a call from a resident at Cedarwood Apartments. A victim advised that while she was away from the residence unknown person/persons entered without permission. Furniture had been turned over and gone through. No property was reported missing.

On Nov. 18 at 1:40 a.m. a resident on Johnson Street reported that someone had taken her vehicle without permission. The vehicle was a 1999 Cadillac and had been taken sometime between 11 p.m. and 140 a.m. All information was obtained from the victim and a teletype to surrounding agencies was issued. After the victim was able to supply a title for the vehicle, the vehicle was entered into the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System. The victim had an insurance tracking device and with the assistance of State Farm, the vehicle was found to be stationary in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Police Department was contacted and assisted in locating the vehicle. The vehicle had been abandoned. No driver could be located. The vehicle was towed and the owner was contacted with the information for getting the vehicle back. The vehicle was located by 5:10 a.m.

ACCIDENT

On Nov. 13 at 1:34 a.m. the department received a call of a hit-skip accident. An unknown driver had made a left turn and struck a vehicle that was parked along East Walnut Street. The unknown driver left the scene in the vehicle. A hub cap was found at the scene that belonged to the unknown vehicle. The hub cap was the front left cover for a 1992 to 2000 model full-size Chevrolet Silverado. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the vehicle at that time. Officers later made contact with the driver who had left the scene, Jordan Barman of Elyria, and he attempted to give a false accident report. Barman admitted to striking Fraley’s vehicle with his vehicle. Barman also admitted to drinking an alcoholic beverage. This incident was reported too late for possible OVI charges. Barman was issued a citation for failure to control.

Nov. 19

Stanley J. Lamb, 32, of Harveysburg, for obstructing official business and failure to appear.

Melany Jo Roades, 34, of Hillsboro, for failure to appear.

Ryan Hillard, 30, of Blanchester, for driving under suspension and failure to appear.

INICIDENT

On Nov. 15 the police department responded to Walmart on Harry Sauner Road for a report of theft.

ACCUDENT

On Nov. 18 at 10:13 pm the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash. Benjamin Page, 22, of Hillsboro, was northbound on North West Street. Susie Bryan, 49, of Hillsboro, was southbound on North West Street. Page traveled left of the center line and struck the front of the vehicle driven by Bryan causing damage to both vehicles. Page was cited for left of center.
