National Cooperative Bank (NCB) has announced the promotion of Arminta Torbett to assistant vice president and branch manager.

Torbett has over 30 years of banking and management experience. She began her career at NCB in 2005 as branch manager for NCB’s Hillsboro Kroger Branch. She manages the customer service representatives and all aspects of the teller line daily operations. In her new role, she will continue to manage the Hillsboro Kroger Branch and alongside vice president and senior business development officer Mike Flanigan while also managing the teller operations at NCB’s Wilmington branch.

Torbett has received recognition for her involvement in the local community having served over 20 years in the Business and Professional Women’s Organization, serving eight years on the Scioto Paint Valley ADAMH Board and as chairperson of the Fayette County Operation Feed Annual Campaign for 10 years. She is also dedicated to local school organizations and community youth programs.

“Arminta’s experience, leadership and outstanding customer service makes her the perfect candidate for this position,” said Deb Jones, NCB co-president, Ohio Region. “Her product expertise and enthusiasm for business development will be a real asset to the Wilmington community.”
