Two Washington Court House residents were arrested in Hillsboro on drug charges Tuesday after Highland County sheriff’s detectives and deputies initiated a bust and found cocaine, heroin and cash in a room at the 100 block of Harry Sauner Road.

Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera said in a press release that detectives and deputies from the Highland County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation involving the trafficking and possession of drugs in Liberty Township.

According to Barrera, the sheriff’s detectives and deputies executed a search warrant Tuesday in the 100 block of Harry Sauner Road. During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals from Washington Court House were taken into custody.

A search of the hotel room revealed approximately 9.5 grams of cocaine, heroin, and paraphernalia commonly used in the preparation of drugs for sale, according to the press release.

Deputies seized money believed to be the proceeds from drug sales. Evidence will be submitted to BCI&I for identification, said Barrera.

Shawn Bock, 33, Washington Court House, was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of drugs. He is scheduled to be arraigned in the Hillsboro Municipal Court on Wednesday. Bock was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Adult Parole Board.

Tiffany Ivey, 36, Washington Court House, was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of drugs. She is also scheduled to be arraigned in the Hillsboro Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Barrera said the case remains under investigation through the Highland County Sheriff’s Office.
