A Mt. Orab man who has been arrested twice this year on bench warrants has admitted in Highland County Common Pleas Court to violations and is heading to prison.

Rodney Sullivan, 49, was convicted of fifth-degree felony nonsupport in August 2011 and sentenced in to five years community control.

Court records show that in December 2014 a warrant was issued when his whereabouts became unknown and he was not arrested until May. Another warrant was issued for the same reason last month, on which he was arrested in early November.

On Thursday, he was ordered to serve 11 months in prison for violating his community control supervision.

In other hearings, John R. Davidson, 59, Lynchburg, was sentenced to community control and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine on one count of third-degree felony illegal cultivation of marijuana. He pled guilty to the charge last month.

Katherine J. Page, 18, Hillsboro, on two different cases was sentenced to community control and treatment. She pled guilty to fifth-degree felony heroin possession and third-degree felony grand theft in October.

A warrant to arrest Trenton A. Zumwalde, 20, Hillsboro, was issued when he failed to appear for a sentencing hearing on Thursday. He pled guilty to fifth-degree trafficking in heroin last month.
