Grand jury indicts sixteen

Of the 16 indictments handed down by the April session of a Highland County grand jury on Tuesday, more than half of them were methamphetamine-related charges and all of the charges handed down are associated with drugs.

The individuals who were indicted are:

• Michelle Karaffa, 54, Hillsboro, charged with third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs;

• Andrew Ward, 20, Greenfield, charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony;

• Titan Gray, 37, Greenfield, charged with second-degree felony illegal manufacture of drugs, third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, and fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine;

• Olivia Hayslip, 32, Hillsboro, charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony;

• Charles Wireman, 25, Peebles, charged with third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs;

• Kamala Knisley, 34, Peebles, charged with third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs;

• Michael Bartlett, 45, Martinsville, charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine;

• David Michael Grubb, 19, Piketon, charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine;

• Brian Nicely, 53, Peebles, charged with fifth-degree felony illegal cultivation of marijuana, third-degree felony marijuana possession, and fifth-degree felony possession of criminal tools;

• Dakota J. Evans, 22, Sabina, charged with third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs;

• Katrina K. Cullom, aka Katrina K. Daugherty, 47, charged with fifth-degree felony cocaine possession;

• Codee James Lewis, 22, Leesburg, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs;

• Trevor Wayne Gibson, 21, Hillsboro, charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony;

• Aaron D. Senters, 22, Hillsboro, charged with fifth-degree felony heroin possession;

• Travis Andrew Tracy, 21, Hillsboro, charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony;

• Kelly Lowe, aka Kelly Young, 35, Leesburg, charged with three counts of deception to obtain a dangerous drug, all fourth-degree felonies.
