A Greenfield man is among four people sentenced to prison in the last week on various charges, but his case stems from a recent rash of methamphetamine-related busts in Greenfield.

John Gunter, 34, pled guilty recently to illegal manufacture of drugs, a second-degree felony, and was sentenced to four years in prison.

Gunter’s arrest less than a month ago was one of several made in April in separate methe-related busts in Greenfield.

Titan Gray, 37, Greenfield, pled guilty this week to third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and was sentenced to 24 months in prison.

Audrey Lee Major, 33, New Vienna, admitted to violating her community control and was sentenced to 12 months in prison on third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

It is a charge she first pled guilty to in 2013 and at that time was sentenced to community control and treatment. Violations in 2014 saw Major continued on community control and ordered to complete the STAR residential treatment program, court records show.

According to the court records, a warrant was issued for her arrest in November when her whereabouts became unknown. She was arrested on that warrant last month.

Foryst A. Rios, 21, of Blanchester, who court records also show a previous Hillsboro address for, admitted to violating his community control and was sentenced to seven months in prison for fifth-degree felony marijuana trafficking.

Rios was initially sentenced to community control and ordered to complete treatment last July after pleading guilty to the charge. This week, he waived his right to an attorney and admitted to violations that included not reporting to probation and failing to complete recommended treatment.

In other hearings, Melissa K. Harris, 25, Xenia, admitted to violating her probation and was continued on community control. She is to complete a treatment program she is currently in.

Harris was initially granted intervention in lieu of conviction nearly two years ago after admitting to fifth-degree felony heroin possession.

Alex S. Gruber, 28, Hillsboro, admitted to violating his community control in addition to a new charge.

Gruber was initially placed on community control last July after pleading guilty to heroin possession. This week he admitted to violating his probation by testing positive for drugs. Gruber also pled guilty to a new drug possession charge. He is to be sentenced in June.

Jason Tyler McCoy, 20, Hillsboro, admitted to violating the terms of his intervention in lieu of conviction and will be sentenced in June.

McCoy initially pled guilty to fifth-degree felony heroin possession last August and was granted the intervention in lieu of conviction.

Robert D. Throckmorton, 26, Middletown, also admitted to violating his community control, which he was placed under more than a year ago for fifth-degree felony cocaine possession. He was given another chance by the court and continued on community control.
