The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:
Oct. 27
ACCIDENT
At 6:50 a.m. the police department responded to a crash near the intersection of South East Street and East Main Street in the northbound lane. Upon officer arrival it was found that Scheri Brush, 53, of Peebles, operating a 1997 Dodge truck, struck the rear of a 2010 Ford SUV driven by Cherri Pitze, 62 of Hillsboro.
Oct. 28
INCIDENTS
At 4:40 a.m. the police department responded to the 400 block of West Walnut Street after receiving a call reporting an unknown person entering a residence. Upon officer arrival it was found that the unknown person had stolen personal property from the resident of the home. A search of the area was conducted and no persons or the property was found.
At 2:24 a.m. the police department responded to the 100 block of Elizabeth Drive after receiving a call of an unknown person being in a residence. Upon officer arrival a search was conducted of the area and no person(s) were found and nothing was taken from the residence.
Oct. 31
ACCIDENT
At 6:58 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the 1200 block of North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that Ashton Brown, 29,, of Greenfield, operating a 1992 Oldsmobile, struck a utility pole. Brown was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Matthew J. Hudnell, 32, of Blanchester, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.
