The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

March 16

ACCIDENT

At 2:14 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the 200 block of West Main Street. Upon officer arrival, it was found that David K. Reed, 63, of Hillsboro, operating a 2003 Chevrolet sedan, was traveling westbound on West Main Street. Gary L. Gall, 64, of Hillsboro, operating a 2012 Chevrolet sedan, was traveling eastbound on West Main Street in the same area as Reed. Gall suffered from a medical ailment, resulting in his vehicle traveling left of the yellow center lane and into the westbound lane of travel where it struck Reed’s vehicle.

INCIDENT

At 2:33 p.m. the police department investigated a domestic complaint that occurred in the 400 block of West Pleasant Street. After officer investigation was completed, Deborah L. Walker, 18, of Hillsboro, was transported to the Highland County Jail and was charged with assault.

March 17

INCIDENTS

At 6:58 p.m. the police department investigated a domestic complaint in the 600 block of South West Street. After officer investigation was completed, David Long, 29, of Hillsboro, was transported to the Highland County Jail and was charged with domestic violence.

March 18

INCIDENT

At 3:08 p.m. the police department responded to a business in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road after receiving a call reporting a theft. Upon officer arrival, it was found that Timothy B. Harperee, 23, of Hillsboro, attempted to leave the business with merchandise he did not pay for. Harperee was transported to the Highland County Jail and was charged with theft.

John Howard, 42, of Hillsboro, citation for physical control.

John Edward Gregg, 59, of Hillsboro, citation for OVI refusal and physical control.

Justin Michael Denise, 29, of Hillsboro, bench warrant arrest for failure to appear.

Seth R. Saxour, 29, of New Vienna, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of heroin.
