The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

SATATISTICS

For the week of Monday March 13-19, the police department received 353 calls, four 911 calls, completed four crash reports, 10 incident reports, and 86 security checks. A total of 29 arrests made, two being drug-related.

March 14

INCIDENT

At 11:25 a.m. a resident of the 1100 block of Northview Drive reported the theft of a credit card while away in prison. The victim also reported a vehicle being left in a friend’s care, and the friend is now telling the victim the vehicle was repossessed.

March 20

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Tara Talbott, 46, of Ripley, was arrested on seven bench warrants.

Cecil Bealer II, 49, of Ripley, was arrested on three bench warrants.

Foryst Rios, 21, of Hillsboro, was arrested on one bench warrant.

Anthony Hilterbran, 23, of Hillsboro, was cited for driving under suspension.

March 22

INCIDENT

At 5:51 p.m., the police department responded to the 200 block of North Elm Street after receiving a complaint of an intoxicated driver. Upon officer arrival, a female driver, Heather Vance, 27, of Hillsboro, was located and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Vance was transported to the Highland County Jail and is being charged with physical control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated and child endangering.

March 23

INCIDENT

At 1:29 p.m., the police department received a report of stolen merchandise from a business in the 100 block of West Main Street.

ARRESTS/*CITATIONS

Jessica R. Cole, 33, of Leesburg, arrested for unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine product.

Stephanie G. Workman, 34, of Peebles, was arrested for theft without consent.

Ronnie G. Workman, 43, of Peebles, arrested for theft without consent.
