Chatfield College is inviting the community to Sister Cecilia Huber’s annual Christmas concert, entitled “Come Lord Jesus.” The event will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Chapel on Chatfield’s St. Martin Campus.

“We find very little of Bethlehem peace in our news, and yet, Christ, himself a refugee, reminds us each year of his birth and his desire to live among us and to share our pain,” said Huber. “This year’s concert will be a prayer in honor of the refugee Christ. It will be a prayer for all the holy innocents of today and their families who are fleeing from the Herod of today, striving to find the peace and love found only around that tiny manger in Bethlehem.”

The program is composed by Huber, who is accompanied by musicians and singers Martha Wetzel, Sue Toth and Jack McKee.

For more information about the event, call 513-875-3344, ext. 126 or e-mail [email protected]. Admission is free and open to the public.

The annual Christmas concert is funded in part by the Lulu O. Craig Fine Arts Fund.
