The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

March 7

ACCIDENTS

On March 3 at 1:22 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the area of the southbound lane of North West Street near Fenner Avenue. Upon officer arrival it was found that Brenda Knisley, 21, of Hillsboro, operating a 2001 Hyundai, struck the rear a 2012 Volvo SUV driven by Julie Kisling, 49 of Hillsboro. Knisley was cited for assured cleared distance.

On March 4 at 5:20 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the 1200 block area of North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that Karen Lukas, 56, of Hillsboro, operating a 2010 Cadillac sedan, struck the rear of Kevin Bowling, 34, of Hillsboro, operating a 2012 Chevrolet truck. Lukas was cited for assured cleared distance.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

A 16-year-old Hillsboro male juvenile was cited for speeding for driving 51 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Neil T. Bowen, 35, of Hillsboro, citation for expired tags.

Amber Oney, 35, of Peebles, citations for driving under suspension and expired tags.

Bradley Wilson McClure, 50, of Bainbridge, failure to appear bench warrant.

Tammie R. Throckmorton, 43, of Dayton, failure to appear bench warrant.

A 15-year-old Hillsboro male juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct.
