Rocky Fork clean-up is next month

The Highland County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday proclaimed April as Clean Up, Fix Up, and Pick Up Month and on the last three Saturdays in April the years-long effort of people gathering to clean up, fix up, and pick up at the Rocky Fork Lake Area will commence. It is an effort that has been led by the Rocky Fork Community Alliance since 2006. Anyone interested should meet at the campground store parking lot by 8 a.m. on those last three Saturdays in April. Pictured for Wednesday’s proclamation are (l-r) commissioner Jeff Duncan, Randy Mustard, commissioner Shane Wilkin, Angie Mustard, Diane Uhl, and commissioner Tom Horst.
