Lions International Club Days proclaimed

The Highland County Board of Commissioners proclaimed April 30-May 1 as Lions International Club Days. That is when the Lions Club District 13J will hold its convention at the Patriot Center at Southern State Community College. The service organization began in 1917 and today comprises more than 1.4 million members in 45,000 clubs worldwide. Those interested in the Lions Club can go to district13j.org for more information.
