Letter to the Editor: Thanks to Greer, Jackson for keeping roads clean

To The Editor:

The following letter was sent to Highland County Probate and Juvenile Judge Kevin Greer, and was copied to The Times-Gazette with a request for publication.

Dear Judge Greer,

We just wanted to pass a note of appreciation to you and Bailiff Rob Jackson for your ongoing efforts in keeping the Liberty Township roads cleaned of roadside trash. Bailiff Rob Jackson has had the young men and women, on community service from Highland County Juvenile Court, out on numerous occasions bagging trash along several of our township roads. Mr. Jackson promptly notifies us and the bags are picked up and sent on to the landfill.

We believe your ongoing efforts in holding the juveniles accountable for their actions is the key to our future as a society, while making our community a cleaner place to live, and is a win/win situation for all.

Keep up the good work!
