Lynchburg-Clay seniors play last home game

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs played their last regular-season game Friday night, with six seniors saying goodbye to the LCHS home court.

The Mustangs fell to the Ripley Blue Jays by 9 points with a final score of 59-50.

“We got a lot of the shots we wanted to offensively tonight, they just didn’t fall,” said Lynchburg-Clay head coach Matt Carson. “I want to thank all the seniors and their parents for their hard work and dedication to the program. This was their final home game of their career, and they’ve been a part of a lot of good things in this program. We may not have gotten the win, but this group is resilient and will get back to work this week. I have no doubt about that.”

Seniors for the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs are AJ Stroop, Joe Giordano, Brian Lampkin, Trevor Lindsey, Isaiah Jones and Zach Miller.
