Cluff pinned in state tournament


Hillsboro sophomore Lane Cluff wrapped up his OHSAA Individual Wrestling State Tournament appearance Thursday night in a 285-pound weight class consolation match against Elida High School senior Noah Meeker. Meeker (48-3) pinned Cluff (35-11) in 59 seconds. Cluff was defeated earlier in the day by senior Sam Robinson of Wintersville Indian Creek by a final score of 3-2.
