Lady ‘Cats fall to West Union

The Whiteoak Lady ‘Cats volleyball team hosted Southern Hills Athletic Conference opponent West Union on Tuesday night and fell in four sets with a final of 3-1.

West Union took a huge early lead in the first set (8-0) before the Lady ‘Cats could make it onto the scoreboard. Even then the Lady Dragons never lost their lead and went on to win the first set 25-17.

In the second set, Whiteoak stepped it up and won the set 25-17. But after playing well in set number two, they fell in the final two sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-19.

The Lady ‘Cats (2-11) will be back in action on Friday, September 30 when they travel to another SHAC opponent school Fairfield.
