McClain High School boys and girls soccer teams hosted the Clinton Massie Flacons on Tuesday night for a South Central Ohio League matchup.

In the first game, the Lady Tigers were defeated 8-2. The Lady Falcons first five goals came in the first 15 minutes of the game.

McClain’s Taylor Polley had both goals for the Lady Tigers.

“Obviously, you want to see your team win,” said Lady Tigers coach Shawn Peterman after the loss. “But I am please with the performance of our girls tonight.”

In the second game of the evening, the Tigers blanked the Falcons with a final score of 8-0.

The Tigers first goal came off the foot of Evan Hutchinson.

McClain’s Cody Hardesty had a hat trick (three goals) for his team on the night.

The Tigers improved to 5-3-1 with the win and both them and the Lady Tigers will play the Chillicothe Cavaliers on Thursday night.
