Celebration of Life Memorial Golf Scramble

The community is invited to come out and play in the “Celebration of Life” Memorial Scholarship Golf Scramble on Friday, July 22 at the Buckeye Hills Country Club. Registration will open at noon and the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. All funds raised by the golf scramble will go towards the Adam Sharp Memorial Fund. Each year, scholarships are given to individuals pursuing a degree in agriculture.

The event, hosted by Sims Family Golf Center, will also include competition for several prizes and a meal will follow the tournament. Additionally, James Thomas Breech, a former American Football kicker in the NFL, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1980 to 1992, will be the special guest. Jimmy will be the “Pro for Hire” on Hole 15 and the Master of Ceremony at the conclusion of the scramble.

The cost for a corporate team is $500, a four person team is $300 and an individual is $75. Teams must be confirmed in advance and walk-on teams the day of will not be able to participate. The deadline for registration is July 15.
