Patricia Hamilton Narcross, 73, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.

She was born March 16, 1943, in Highland County, the daughter of Harley and Della (Surber) Hamilton.

She was retired from the Greenfield Exempted Village Schools after 30 years of service as a secretary, and was a 1961 graduate of Fairfield High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenfield and Order of Eastern Star, and one of the founding members of the Greenfield Area Life Squad.

She is survived by her husband, Paul “Bo” Narcross, whom she married June 3, 1962; one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Narcross of Greenfield; one son, John Paul (Susan Zoldak) Narcross of Columbus; three grandchildren, Kathryn Lynn Narcross, Elliott John Narcross and Nicole Louise Narcross; four sisters, Norma Jane (Charlie Perrin) Morrow of Hillsboro, Elizabeth June Whaley of Florida, Linda Lou (Michael) Wright of Indianapolis, Ind. and, Donna Mae Helwagen of Florida; two brothers, Paul Dean (Cecelia) Hamilton of Cincinnati and Terry David (Brenda) Hamilton of Colorado; two sisters-in-law, Nancy (Robert) Harvey of North Carolina and Margaret (Tom) Horst of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jean Bailey and Phyllis Joanne Rings; four brothers, Charles Albert “Ham” Hamilton, James Noble Hamilton, Hubert Alan Hamilton and Donald Lee “Grassy” Hamilton; and both parents.

Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Terry Washburn and Otis Wagner officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday.
