The Hillsboro High School Choral Department will present its annual “Feast of Carols” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Hillsboro Church of Christ, 155 W. Walnut St.

The Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus and Symphonic Choir will feature traditional carols and holiday arrangements accompanied by organ, piano, and various other instruments.

The centerpiece of the program will be Conrad Susa’s “Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest,” presented by the Symphonic Choir. Sung in Spanish and Catalan, the work will include carols from all over the Spanish speaking world accompanied by harp, guitar, and marimba.

The concert will conclude with a combined choir singing “Let There be Peace on Earth,” by Craig Courtney. Student organist Daniel Jacky will accompany the audience. Carols and choirs will be accompanied by pianist Charles Colliver and directed by David White.

The concert is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit Samaritan Outreach Services.
