The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Oct. 20

ACCIDENT

At 2:35 p.m. the police department responded to a crash at the intersection of West Beech Street and North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that Terry R. Bohn, 35, of Kansas, operating a 2004 Hyundai, failed to obey a traffic control device and struck a vehicle driven by Theresa Lowell, 62, of Hillsboro, operating a 1996 Lincoln vehicle. Bohn was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Arthur E. Wright, 69, of Hillsboro, citation for disorderly conduct.

Terry E Bohn II, 35, of Kansas, citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Zachary Drabik, 18 of Leesburg – Citation reckless operation

Charles Dean Howard, 39, of Greenfield, arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Oct. 21

INCIDENTS

At 8:50 p.m. the police department responded to Speedway located on West Main Street after receiving a call reporting an unknown male that was urinating in the parking lot. Officers patrolled the area for the male, who was not located. At this time the male’s identity is unknown and the incident is under investigation.

Oct. 22

ACCIDENT

At 7:43 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the 400 block of Harry Sauner Road. Upon officer arrival it was found that Quintell Ellsworth Burns, 30, of Hillsboro, operating a 2012 Dodge truck, struck the rear of Jefferson Eldridge Green, 62, of New Vienna, vehicle, a 2001 Ford truck several times. Burns was cited for disregard of safety on a street or highway.

At 5:48 p.m. the police department responded to a crash in the 500 block of East Walnut Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that Michelle Harewood, 45, of Hillsboro, operating a 1994 Lincoln, was traveling westbound in the 500 block of East Walnut Street and attempted to make a right turn into the alley. ,While doing so, Felicia R. Hall, 25, of Hillsboro, operating a 2013 Chevrolet Sedan, attempted to pass Harewood on the right while Harewood was attempting a right turn into the alley. Hall’s vehicle struck Harewood’s vehicle. Hall was cited for assured cleared distance.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Joshua Smith, 31, of Hillsboro, citation for physical control while under the influence.

A 16-year-old Hillsboro male was cited for failure to maintain control.

Alexander T. Ventura, 18, of Hillsboro, citation reckless operation.

John Kolle, 44, of Greenfield, citation driving under child support suspension.

Todd Thacker, 41, of Hillsboro, arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Shawn Schirmer, 27, of Hillsboro, arrested a bench warrant for failure to appear.
