Timothy “Tim” Priest, 56, with two decades of area banking experience, has joined Wilmington Savings Bank as senior lender.

A lifelong resident of Highland County, Priest has been a senior executive or manager for several financial institutions, where he focused primarily on retail and commercial deposits and loan origination.

Priest graduated from Fairfield High School in Leesburg, has a bachelor’s degree in business from California Southern University, and also graduated from Hondros Real Estate College in order to become a licensed real estate agent.

“This was a good move for me to join Wilmington Savings Bank since it has had a strong local presence and been a landmark in the community since 1890,” Priest says. “Decisions are made locally by local people. Wilmington Savings Bank has a commitment to excellence and I am excited to be a part of the team.”

Priest and his wife, Sonja Priest, have a son, Tyler; daughter-in-law, Emily; and a granddaughter, Kierra. Tim Priest enjoys music, particularly playing guitar and keyboards in The Blue Steel Band, weightlifting and sports of all kinds.

Wilmington Savings Banks, 184 N. South St., is a state-chartered savings bank founded in 1890. For more information, call 937-382-1659 or toll free at 800-951-9958, or go to www.wilmingtonsavings.com.
