Hillsboro FFA holds summer meeting, pool party

The Hillsboro FFA members gathered at Erin Clark’s house for a summer meeting/pool party. During the meeting, upcoming FFA events were discussed, including fair, a cornhole tournament, OLC, WLC, and regular FFA camp. After the meeting all of the members and guests were served pizza and desserts. The members participated in activities such as swimming, hillbilly golf, nine square, Dizzy Izzy, and water balloons. When the sun started to set, the members started a bonfire. The summer FFA meeting is typically where the freshmen are introduced and welcomed into the national FFA organization. This meeting allows the new members to get involved and experience the closeness of all of the FFA members. Pictured on the top are the Hillsboro FFA officers during the opening ceremony.
