The Hillsboro FFA Chapter will have a 5K Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 7 at the Highland County Fairgrounds. Preregister by Oct. 24 to receive a free T-shirt.

The cost is $20. Day of race registration will be available, but no guarantee of a T-shirt. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 and the run/walk will begin at 9 a.m.

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter is holding this event to raise money for Adopt-a-Family, which is for families in the Hillsboro City School District and community. With this money the FFA will purchase gifts and toys for these families during the holiday season. This year, the FFA hopes to support at least two families in our community during the holiday season.

For those interested in participating in this event, the registration form can be found on Hillsboro High School’s website (www.hcs-k12.org). For more information, email Libby McNeal ([email protected]) or Brian Cummings ([email protected]).
