Sergeant Bobby Stroop of the Highland County Sheriff’s Office visited the Hillsboro Public Library recently and talked with children and their families about the importance of safety awareness. The library gave a donation to the DARE program, which Stroop is in charge of, from money donated by staff members for wearing jeans on weekends.
