One person entrapped in SR 138 crash

One person was temporarily entrapped in a vehicle that ended up on its top after an accident at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday on SR 138, northeast of Hillsboro.The accident took place 5.2 miles past the Hillsboro city limits.Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District Chief Bradley George said the male driver was out of the vehicle by the time EMS personnel arrived on the scene and appeared to have only minor visible injuries.The driver was transported to Highland District Hospital.The Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating the crash, but an OSHP spokesperson said Wednesday evening that no further information would be available until 6 a.m. Thursday.

 

Leesburg man gets 3 years on meth charge

A Leesburg man is heading to prison for three years after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony meth-related charge Wednesday in Highland County Common Pleas Court.Jeffrey D. Tadlock, 26, pled guilty to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs in the vicinity of a juvenile.
