The Lynchburg Lions Club held its monthly dinner meeting Oct. 22 at the Lions Club Building. The dinners are always accompanied by an education program. The October program was presented by Lions District Governor Lydia Houser. She was accompanied by her huband, Ric, and region chairperson, Beth Cauley. Houser discussed a variety of Lions activities and stressed the importance of increasing membership at the local level. Cauley has been a leader in many Lions events including promoting canine companion dogs and serving as zone chairman.
