L-C Lady Mustangs SHAC bowling champions

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs won the three-day Southern Hills Athletic Conference bowling tournament last week. The tournament started at Community Lanes in Georgetown, moved to Highland Lanes in Hillsboro and finished up in Aberdeen. Pictured (l-r) are team members Milain Burns, Sarah Mckinney, Sophie Balon, Bridget Wilkin and Hannah Smith, with coaches James O’Connor (left) and Shawn Mclaughlin in the background. Smith, Balon, Burns and Wilkin were named to the the All-SHAC Bowling Team. The girls will compete in the sectional tournament in Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Shawnee Lanes in Chillicothe.
