The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information for May 9-12:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Donald Allen Jr., 48, Hillsboro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and cited for driving under suspension.

Tammy Jones, 45, Wilmington, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Darryl Taylor, 46, Aurora, Indiana, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Jimmy Wallace, 43, Milford, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Krista Bennington, 45, Hillsboro, was cited for disorderly conduct.

Jerica Heairld, 29, Hillsboro, was cited for disorderly conduct.

Steven Kamer, 55, Mason, Kentucky, was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.

Aiden Price, 18, of Lynchburg, was cited for a barking dog.

Meranda Saxon, 35, Hillsboro, was arrested for domestic violence.

ACCIDENTS

On May 10, at approximately 4 p.m., the police department responded to a three-car crash on North West Street near Fenner Avenue. Upon arrival it was determined that Sandra Fulton, 76, Peebles, was traveling southbound on North West Street behind a vehicle driven by Latoya Williams, 34, Hillsboro, and a vehicle driven by Crystal White, 33, Hillsboro. Williams began slowing for stopped traffic ahead, while White had stopped. Fulton failed to stop her vehicle prior to striking Williams’ vehicle in the rear, causing Williams’s vehicle to strike White’s vehicle. Minor injuries were reported on the scene. Fulton was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

On May 10, at approximately 4:38,p.m., the police department responded to a report of a two-car crash in the area of Harry Sauner Road and Roberts Lane. Upon arrival it was determined that Felisha Smalley, 37, Seaman, and James Tira, 85, Hillsboro, began traveling eastbound on Harry Sauner Road from a stopped position near a traffic light at Roberts Lane. Tira slowed his vehicle for traffic ahead when Smalley did not stop her vehicle in time causing a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on the scene. Smalley was cited for improper start.

On May 11, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the police department responded to the area of East Main Street and High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival it was determined that a vehicle driven by Sally Ford, 59, Hillsboro, was traveling westbound on East Main Street behind a vehicle driven by Brittany Jenkins, 28, Piketon. Jenkins stopped for traffic ahead due to the traffic light. Ford failed to stop prior to striking Jenkins in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on the scene. Ford was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
