Workman on Cumberlands list

In recognition of academic performance, the Office of Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has announced the students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. To be eligible for the list, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 for the semester, and be in good academic standing. Hannah Workman of Hillsboro was named to the list.

Robinson on Midway team

Midway University’s Athletics Department held its annual Midways Athletic Honors recently to present awards to some of the top athletes and teams for the 2023-24 season. The Eagles secured their first regular season River States championship and second berth in the NAIA National Tournament. Midway went on to win the first national tournament game in program history. Joshua Robinson of Greenfield is a member of the team.

SNHU President’s List

Southern New Hampshire University has named several local residents on its winter 2024 president’s list. Full-time undergraduate students who earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the list. Named to the list were: Jacob Webb of Greenfield, Hunter Wiltshire of Greenfield, Madison Davis of Greenfield, Josh Bice of Hillsboro, Jessica Kitchen of Hillsboro, Joshua Tetreault of Lynchburg and Logan Mullins of Lynchburg.

Haines grads from Berea

Brock Haines of Hillsboro received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Berea College conferred on May 15, 2024.

Holsted honored at Ohio Wesleyan

Claire Holsted of Hillsboro has been named to the 2024 spring semester dean’s list at Ohio Wesleyan University. To earn dean’s list recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes. She graduated May 11 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude. She majored in genetics and minored in psychology.

Campbell grads from Trine

Gavin Campbell of Leesburg completed requirements for a degree from Trine University at the end of the spring 2024 semester. Campbell earned a degree in chemical engineering. Campbell was also named to the president’s list for the spring semester.

Four on Cedarville list

Jeanette Cox of Hillsboro, Maysun Faulconer of Greenfield, Christopher Leslie of Hillsboro and Makayla Lingerfelt of Greenfield have been named to the dean’s list at Cedarville University for the spring 2024 semester. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
