On Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, Pastor Mike Brown of the Southside Praise and Worship Center presented to four students or their representatives certificates for a scholarship from the Lena Ackley Frazier Memorial Scholarship Fund sponsored by SSPW, with each student receiving $1,000 per scholarship. The students receiving those scholarships are Cody Ayres, Gretta Quigley, Brooklyn Edinfield and Taylor Baker.
