During the month of July, the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church held vacation bible school, Camp Firelight themed. The youth worked hard to bring in Dimes for Camp Dovetail, to help those youth offset expenses of going to camp. The youth attending vacation bible school raised $500 in dimes to donate to Camp Dovetail. All the youth participated in a fun water balloon fight, where they got to throw balloons at the camp mascot, Mr. Firefly as a reward for all their work.
