Norman Eugene McCloskey, 77, Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born on July 29, 1947, in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Penwell) McCloskey.

He was a farmer, cattle buyer and family man. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lou (Smith) McCloskey whom he married on March 26, 1966; two children, Norman (Beth) McCloskey of Grove City, Angela McCloskey Page of South Salem; six grandchildren, Abigail, Taylor (Scott), Jarrett (Shaunessey), Molly, Conner, and Cameron (Jess) who was raised same as a son; five, great-grandchildren, Hadlee, Cora, Karlee, Carson and Eli.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale McCloskey; one sister, Carol Ann Winegar; and both parents.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current and Pastor Sam Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1: p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
