HIGHLAND COUNTY S.O. REPORTS

Oct. 4

On Friday, October 4, the U S Marshals Service provided information regarding the whereabouts of a fugitive from Oklahoma, residing at a residence in the 700 block of South 2nd St in Greenfield. In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 5, The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Highland County Task Force, U S Marshals and Greenfield Police Department surrounded the residence and requested the wanted individual to exit. Several adults and children exited the residence, however, the wanted male remained inside. After several hours, units made entry in to the residence and apprehended the male without incident. The male was identified as Ricky L Caldwell, 43, of Edmond, OK. Caldwell was charged with a firearm violation after being convicted of a felony violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Caldwell will be extradited back to Oklahoma.

Oct. 8

A resident of the 10000 block of Long John Silver Trl reported a vehicle vandalized.

A deputy responded to the 6100 block of W Welcome Rd after a report of an MVC. Shirley E Hollingsworth, of Hillsboro reported she was traveling westbound when the sun temporarily obstructed her vison, causing her vehicle to leave the left side of the roadway striking a concrete driveway. Hollingsworth was transported to Highland District Hospital for treatment of minor injuries by Paint Creek EMS. No citations were issued.

A resident of the 6100 block of Heather Moor Trl reported the theft of tools This incident remains under investigation.
