New Hope Baptist Church Men and Women’s Day

New Hope Baptist Church will be holding Men and Women’s Day on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at 128 E. Beech St. in Hillsboro. Guest speakers will be Rev. Derrick Bass and Sister Bass from Serenity Baptist Church. Pastor Tyrone Lawes and the congregation welcomes everyone to attend.

St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church outreach sessions

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hillsboro will be holding its September Outreach sessions for those in need of assistance on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Those in need of help can meet with SVDP volunteers at those times. Please bring ID, copies of bills that you are seeking help with and verification of income. It is important to note that you can only receive help once per year. Highland County Food for All mobile pantry

We, Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio are hosting an upcoming Highland County Food for All mobile pantry for Highland County residents in need of food on Thursday, Sept. 26. We are partnering with the local community and distributing food at the Greater Life Assembly Church, 12145 North Shore Drive near Rocky Fork Lake Park. Food distribution is from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. The holding pattern for vehicles has changed! Please line up in the Holiday Trails neighborhood along the roads (Enter Hill Rd to Hickory Trail to Maple Trail to Woodland Trail to Acorn). All families in need from the county are welcome to attend. Picture ID is required for registration and once a year, a current piece of mail is needed for proof of address.
