Hello! In the kitchen with Sharon this week we are making banana pudding fluff. I don’t know about you, but I love pudding and I love bananas. Plus, it’s easy with not lots of ingredients — my kind of dessert.

Lord fearing woman is to be praised
One afternoon a man came home from work to find total mayhem in his house. His three children were outside, still in their pajamas playing in the mud with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife’s car was open, as was the front door to the house.
HHS choir at Hillsboro Woman’s Club
The May program for the Hillsboro Woman’s Club meeting featured the Hillsboro High School Ensemble Choir directed by Laura Jacky. The hostesses were Toy Fender and Donna Armstrong.
Imani Milele at Common Ground
The Common Ground Community Church, 7406 Mad River Rd., Hillsboro, will host the Imani Milele Children’s Choir from Uganda, Africa on Monday, May 15. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. There will be 22 children singing and sharing their testimonies of what God is doing to Uganda. For more information call Mary Kay Cole at 937-725-9776.

The Highland County Senior Citizens Center will hold a free Medicare event presented by the Ohio Department of Insurance OSHIIP at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 19. Learn about Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, prescription benefits, Advantage plans and more. Call the senior center to RSVP at 937-393-4745. Pictured are the Highland County Senior Citizens Center members with Hillsboro Eagles #1161 members, who donated a gold sponsorship of $500 for the senior center’s annual Elvis Presley fundraising event, which made a profit of a little more than $10,000. The annual event helps fund the operation of the center. The Hillsboro Eagles are annual supporters of the senior center.

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 be offering the popular Diabetes Self-Management Program through a weekly telephone conference call starting May 23 and going through June 27.
