Despite the Wildcat’s wakeup call in the final quarter, Northwest took the win by 2 points with a final score of 42-40.

Whiteoak’s Michael Crowe led the Wildcats with 11 points.

“We put ourselves in a position to win and that’s all you can ask for,” said Whiteoak head coach Jeremy McGraw. “Our kids played with great intensity. We preach to them that foul shots can win or lose you games and tonight we did not shoot it well from the line.”
